The new EUREKA CLUSTER on Advanced Manufacturing has been granted today the “Full Label”
During the HLG-NPC 3 meeting held in Helsinki on the 20th of June, in conjunction with the EUREKA Chairmanship change, SMART has been granted the EUREKA CLUSTER’s “Full Label” becoming, from now on, a full-fledged EUREKA Cluster.
This new EUREKA CLUSTER will promote, for the coming 7 years and with a budget of 400 million euro, R&D&I projects in International collaboration in the field of Advanced Manufacturing.
So far, SMART has gathered the support of 12 EUREKA Countries, Austria, the Belgian Region of Flanders, Chile, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden and Turkey, and more that 150 participating entities from 22 countries. However, the SMART team will continue working intensely to broaden this community with new supporting countries.
