On the 23rd of November in Donostia – San Sebastián, SMART celebrated it’s PO Proposers Day related to the 7th call that is ongoing at the moment. The event was held in person with people from 15 different countries attending.
A total of 60 participants attended the event. Notably, a significant delegation from the United Kingdom was in attendance, contributing to the event’s diverse international representation. Participants hailed from countries such as Belgium, Canada, Chile, the Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom. The event brought together a varied group, including representatives from companies, universities, research centers, associations and governmental entities.
15 pitches about Project ideas were presented during the event, with 13 presented in person and an additional 2 through pre-recorded videos. The primary goal is to establish a consortium with some partners to develop and prepare a SMART Project Outline with a deadline set for January 22nd, 2024.
After the presentation session concluded, we provided a B2B area where more than 50 B2B meetings were held in order to exchange ideas and foster the creation of consortia or collaborative ties.
