SMART, HUGE SUCCESS: 34 PROJECT OUTLINES RECEIVED
Last Friday 9th of March was the last day to receive POs (Project Outlines) in the context of the SMART EUREKA CLUSTER’s First Call for Projects.
34 POs were received in this first stage of the process with 153 participants from 14 different Eureka Countries with great participation of SMEs and Large Companies.
The average PO is one with 1.6M€ budget, 4-5 participants from 2-3 different countries and a 30-month duration.
According to the total costs of each project, the main countries participating in this stage are the following: Spain (44%), Sweden (14%), Turkey (14%), Portugal (9%), South Korea (7%) and Ireland (5%). Other countries like Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Norway or the United Kingdom are also represented with lower weights.
Most of the participants come from the Industry, SMEs 39%, Large Companies 32%, being RTOs 17% and Universities 12%.
POs are going to be evaluated in the following days and will receive recommendations and suggestions to improve the Projects in a future FPP (Full Project Proposal) phase by the end of the month of March. We hope most of them are invited to the second stage, to submit a FPP.
