The SMART Technical Committee and Public Authorities met last week to share their impressions about the 4th Call POs.
SMART 4th Call for Project PO (Project Outline) reception phase closed on 14th December with 18 projects received, involving 76 partners from 13 different EUREKA Countries. The average budget of the received POs is 1.8M€ and 32-month-duration.
The main countries participating in the projects are Turkey (26% of total budget), Finland (16%), Spain (13%), South Korea (13%), Sweden (9%) and Austria (9%). Other countries like Germany, Portugal, Canada, Israel and Czech Republic have also some relevance.
The SMART Technical Committee and Public Authorities Board met on 19th January to share their impressions about the Project Outlines submitted to the 4th Call. 17 out of 18 submitted projects were invited to the FPP phase as they fit within the scope of SMART. Some proposals will need improvements, but the topics of the projects were considered adequate in almost all the cases by Public Authorities.
