Side event within the European Days for Sustainable Circular Economy to be held in Helsinki
The Finnish EU Presidency is organising the European Days for Sustainable Circular Economy in Helsinki on the 30th of September and 1st of October. As a side event to this one, SMART EUREKA Cluster will lead another one on the 2nd of October at Team Finland House to foster participation of Finnish organisations in Advanced Manufacturing R&D projects in International Collaboration.
In short, this SMART Cluster event will enable you to:
- Know the SMART Cluster, the SMART community, the 3rd Call for Projects launched this September 2019 and the procedure to engage in it.
- Present your project idea(s) and/or learn about other project ideas in pitch session.
- Meet Public Authorities (Business Finland) to discuss your idea(s) and learn more about the specific funding rules in Finland well in advance.
- Discuss and work on your project ideas in workgroup sessions.
- See how the SMART Office can support you during the full project lifetime
Also, FASTEMS and VTT, key players in the Finnish playing field, will make some interesting presentations:
- FASTEMS: Enabling economically feasible manufacturing of lot size one – Harri Nieminen – Director, Innovation, Development & Research
- VTT: Tailored performance through additive manufacturing – Tarja Laitinen – Vice President, Lifecycle solutions
